Apple scheduled its first event of the year, titled “Apple Experience,” for March 4 at 9AM ET in New York City. The company has not confirmed if the event will be publicly streamed. According to MacRumors, simultaneous versions of the event will occur in London and Shanghai. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple planned hardware announcements “as early as the week of March 2.”
The event is expected to feature new MacBooks, including a MacBook Air and refreshed 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros. These models will debut the M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. A base M5 chip MacBook Pro arrived in October. Speculation suggests a new entry-level MacBook may be available in light yellow, light green, blue, and pink colorways.
New iPads are also anticipated, including an entry-level model with an A18 chip supporting Apple Intelligence features. The iPad Air could receive an upgrade with the M4 chip. Updated versions of the Mac Studio, Studio Display, and Mac mini are expected later in the year.
