Amazon Web Services hosts its annual re:Invent 2025 conference in Las Vegas this week, formally starting December 2 at 9 a.m. PT, to showcase advancements in cloud computing and artificial intelligence through keynotes and partner sessions, all available via livestream without tickets.
The event builds on last year’s emphasis on artificial intelligence initiatives. In 2024, AWS introduced new foundation models, services designed to address AI hallucinations, and enhanced security protocols. For 2025, announcements and the speaker lineup indicate a continued priority on these areas. Attendees and remote viewers can access coverage including keynote summaries, executive interviews, and daily news compilations through the event’s dedicated online tag on relevant platforms.
Broadcasting keynotes and selected sessions has become standard for major technology conferences, re:Invent 2025 includes five keynotes scheduled from Tuesday to Thursday, each centered on AI and related technologies. These sessions stream live online, and an alternative viewing option exists within the Fortnite platform for all five presentations.
The first keynote features AWS CEO Matt Garman on December 2 at 8 a.m. PT. This opening address sets the stage for the conference’s technical and strategic directions. On December 3 at 8:30 a.m. PT, AWS Vice President of Agentic AI Swami Sivasubramanian delivers the next session, focusing on advancements in autonomous AI systems. Later that day, at 3 p.m. PT, Dr. Ruba Borno, AWS Vice President of Global Specialists and Partners, presents insights into partnership ecosystems and specialized solutions.
Keynotes continue on December 4 with Peter DeSantis, Senior Vice President of Utility Computing and Vice President of Compute and Machine Learning Services at AWS, speaking at 9 a.m. PT. This session addresses core infrastructure and machine learning integrations. The final keynote occurs at 3:30 p.m. PT, presented by Dr. Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer of Amazon.com, covering broader technological architectures and innovations.
In addition to keynotes, AWS organizes industry-specific partner showcases, livestreamed for global audiences throughout the event. These sessions provide detailed explorations of applications in various sectors.
