The 2026 LG gram lineup builds on LG’s decade-long position in ultra-portable laptops through the introduction of Aerominum, a material developed by LG. This composition lowers the laptop’s overall weight while increasing structural strength. The chassis constructed from Aerominum provides improved resistance to scratches and complies with military-grade standards. It also delivers long-lasting resilience suited for daily use during travel or mobility. The material incorporates an aeroplate structure combined with refined atelier brushing, which produces a sleek metallic finish. This design elevates the aesthetic appeal without increasing bulk, making the laptops more portable overall.
Select models in the 2026 LG gram lineup incorporate advanced dual AI to enable faster and more secure work across different environments. This system integrates LG’s gram chat On-Device AI, powered by the upgraded EXAONE 3.5 sLLM, with Microsoft Copilot+ PC for cloud-based functions. Users receive fast AI assistance that remains private, even without an internet connection for offline scenarios. The laptops include the latest processors, which support optimized performance. These elements handle demanding multitasking along with complex AI workflows, applicable to content creation tasks and routine productivity needs.
The LG gram models extend beyond performance with connectivity improvements via the enhanced gram Link. This feature facilitates seamless file sharing, screen mirroring, and content transfer. This screen supports extended productivity sessions and immersive viewing experiences, avoiding the bulk common in high-performance laptops. Power comes from the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU equipped with 8 GB of GDDR7 memory. The GPU handles graphics-intensive tasks, content creation processes, and gaming applications. Availability limits the 17Z90UR to exclusive sales in North America.
The 16Z90U, known as the LG gram Pro 16, stands as the lightest 16-inch laptop featuring both on-device and cloud-based AI. Its 16-inch WQXGA+ OLED display achieves a resolution of 2,880 by 1,800 pixels. The screen offers sharp images with rich contrast, suitable for professional work and creative endeavors. Intel Core Ultra processors drive the system, ensuring responsive multitasking and smooth handling of daily workloads that demand high performance.
