Bulldog Licensing has secured several agreements to bring the cult British Bullseye brand to a range of games and puzzles, including slots and bingo in the United Kingdom.

Bulldog is the agent for the show and the overall brand, with the company securing various sub-agreements to provide a new lease of life for Bully, the inimitable mascot character that acts as the symbol and identity of Bullseye.

First broadcast in 1981, the darts-based TV game show quickly established itself, amassing a strong audience that would sustain it for more than a decade.

At its peak, Bullseye pulled in around 17 million viewers, with the popular show running for 15 series until 1995.

There was a short-lived revival in 2006, as well as a one-off Christmas special last year. On the back of the festive screening, hosted by former England cricket legend Freddie Flintoff, a new series has been commissioned by ITV to run in 2025.

Slots and bingo offerings

University Games, a puzzle and board game manufacturer, will bring a Bullseye range to the market later this year, with a classic board game format and a mini-darts dice game to follow.

That will be supplemented by adult gaming offerings from Blueprint Operations, a U.K. subsidiary of the German gambling giant, Merkur.

Blueprint will bring slot games to approved locations, while the British operator Buzz Bingo has already launched new Bullseye-themed bingo products.

Bullseye Bingo is now live at various Buzz locations around the country and also live-streamed to other bingo halls.

Meanwhile, online gamblers can get involved with 90-ball games in a dedicated Bullseye Bingo room at Buzzbingo.com.

All of the offerings above will carry the familiar imagery and catchphrases from the hit TV quiz.

With the enduring slogan of “You can’t beat a beat of Bully”, the show retains cultural relevance and appeal in the United Kingdom, more than 40 years after it was first broadcast.
