F1 Bahrain Grand Prix odds: Who are the favourites?

The fourth F1 race of the new season will commence this weekend in Bahrain (April 12-13), with the odds suggesting a British driver could clinch the win.

The drivers will be in Bahrain this time as the teams will still be trying to get started on the right foot.

The night race is known for delivering iconic moments, with Formula 1 estimating safety car probability to be at 63%.

It’s also the second race where Yuki Tsunoda will team up with Max Verstappen in the Red Bull team, after Liam Lawson was replaced after just two races. With a lot of pressure on his shoulders, the Japanese driver came P12 in his debut for the team.

All eyes will also remain on Lewis Hamilton as this season is his first with the Italian Ferrari. The Stevenage-born driver has had the most wins out of all Formula 1 history at Bahrain, with five under his belt along with three pole positions.

F1 Bahrain odds – The favorites for the race

According to ALT Sports Data, which is F1’s official betting data supplier, the odds suggest British driver Lando Norris is most likely to become victorious this weekend.

The 25–year-old hasn’t yet stood on the podium in Bahrain, but the McLaren cars are both looking exceptionally strong this season.

Oscar Piastri, a McLaren driver, is estimated to be a close challenger too with his odds standing at 2.8. Behind him in the odds is four-time World Champion Max Verstappen.

In the first race, in Melbourne, Lando Norris took the number one spot. In the second race, in Shanghai, Norris’s teammate Oscar Piastri clinched the win.

Then, last weekend, Max Verstappen won at Suzuka making this his fourth win at the Japanese circuit.
