How to activate the Black Ops 6 Nuketown easter egg

Nuketown has been a staple of the Black Ops experience ever since the map was introduced in Treyarch’s first go-around at this offshoot of the franchise.

As you’d expect, it’s back in Black Ops 6, with some minor design tweaks, but still retaining all its glory.

Upon its return, many players were wondering if the famous Nuketown easter egg makes a comeback and with this guide, we reveal all on how to activate it in Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 Nuketown easter egg: How to activate

In the older Black Ops titles, the mannequins featured in the Nuketown map were integral to getting the easter egg to unlock and in Black Ops 6, it makes a comeback.

To activate the Nuketown easter egg in Black Ops 6, you must locate all of the mannequins around the map and shoot off their heads within one minute and thirty seconds of the match starting.

If you’re thinking that this is an impossible challenge to do in a multiplayer setting, you’re probably right, and therefore doing this in a private match is really the only way of succeeding.

Once you do knock off all mannequin heads within the allotted time, you’ll know you’ve been successful because a ‘signal lost please standby’ screen will flash showing you a still of both Nuketown and the new Area 99 Warzone map.

After this, you’ll stay in Nuketown but all of the mannequins will now be sat on the side of the map as an audience, watching you.

You’ll also have a retro TV static on your screen and mannequin ‘zombies’ will start spawning, with your objective being to simply survive for the rest of the game, killing as many of them in the process.

Sadly, there doesn’t appear to be any reward such as an exclusive Calling Card for doing this easter egg but the experience is still fun all the same.
