Apple is expected to announce a foldable iPhone later this year, according to industry expectations.
The leaked files provide the first detailed look at the potential hardware design of the unreleased device. This development signals Apple’s continued entry into the foldable smartphone market, a sector currently dominated by competitors like Samsung. The renders offer specific visual details that align with recent rumors about the product’s form factor.
Sonny Dickson shared purported 3D CAD rendering files of the rumored iPhone Fold design. The back of the phone features a camera plateau similar to the iPhone Air, but with two cameras instead of one. The design shows two rounded corners and two squared-off corners where the hinge would be located.

The files depict the phone in open form with a dot in the top left corner for the front-facing camera. Additional images show the phone’s outer sides in both open and closed forms with the outside display visible. These leaks occur during the time of year when iPhone design files typically appear online more consistently.
The released files reflect what recent rumors have claimed about the unreleased iPhone. Dickson’s tweet includes two images showing the device’s layout and exterior.
