Mobile battle royale era ends for Warzone Mobile on April 17

Activision announced that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile servers will be taken offline on April 17, 2026. The game will remain accessible for existing players until that date. This decision follows a May 2025 announcement confirming the title would be delisted and would cease receiving new content, marking the conclusion of the mobile port of the CoD battle royale mode.

The development studio had indicated over the past year that the game was heading toward a finale. This server shutdown does not affect the broader franchise’s availability on other platforms. For users seeking a mobile military shooter experience, Call of Duty: Mobile remains fully operational. This alternative title includes its own battle royale mode, offering a comparable experience for those wishing to continue playing on mobile devices.

Activision stated that “Player passion and feedback continue to shape the future of the Call of Duty franchise, and we look forward to delivering meaningful seasonal content and updates to Call of Duty: Mobile.” The company confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone remains free to play on Xbox, Battle.net, PlayStation, and Steam.
