The countdown is on to the next NFL season, with some very early odds already in place for the team which could clinch the Super Bowl in 2026.

The NFL season will get underway on September 4, 2025, with the draft beginning on April 24. The second and third round will take place on April 25, with the fourth through seven rounds concluding on the weekend.

As for the championship game, the Super Bowl is scheduled for February 8 and will be based at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

The upcoming games will continue to be held at different venues, with the 2027 Super Bowl to be at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. In February 2028, the game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

The schedule for the new season has just started too, with March 4 being the kick-off date. It was then that it was the deadline for clubs to designate franchise or transition players. The annual league meeting will be held in Palm Beach, Florida, between March 30 – April 2.

While the Philadelphia Eagles won over the Kansas City Chiefs in February of this year, NFL fans will already be gearing up to see who could be in close contention next time around.

Who is the NFL favorite to win the Super Bowl in 2026?

As fans already have their eyes on who could be the favorite for the Super Bowl in 2026, here are the current odds according to ESPN.

The Philadelphia Eagles have the shortest odds at +600 for the Super Bowl, along with the Kansas City Chiefs who are also sat at +600. The Chiefs have become a staple team within the event over the last three years, with 2020 and 2021 also seeing them play rivals.
