Unite DeFi: 1inch Conference Live in Singapore During Token2049 Week

1inch is set to make Token2049 week in Singapore full of excitement, with big news, active participation and a landmark conference. Among the key moments is a major announcement on October 1, when 1inch co-founder Sergej Kunz takes to the Token2049 TON stage. Throughout the week, the 1inch team will also appear in panels, talks and side events, contributing to the conversations shaping the future of DeFi.

And as one of the key highlights of the Token2049 week, 1inch will present Unite DeFi on October 2 at the iconic ArtScience Museum in Singapore, together with partners Infinex, BOB and Bitget Wallet. This gathering will bring the global DeFi community under one roof and spark conversations that shape the next chapter of decentralized finance.

At 12:15 PM (local time, GMT+8) on October 1, Sergej Kunz will deliver a keynote address on the Token2049 TON stage, unveiling one of the most significant announcements in 1inch’s journey so far. 

From the big stage to deep-dive panels, the program is packed with conversations that will define where DeFi goes next. Look forward to the keynote by Sergej Kunz, headline speakers from across DeFi and Web3, a Fireside chat and the Become 1 party at the Lotus.

  Hilmar Orth of Arrakis, Nihal Maunder of Pantera, Wee Howe Ang of Tokka Labs and Alexei Zamyatin of BOB, with daosasha of 1inch moderating, examine the evolution of yield design – from liquid staking and restaking to liquidity layers and aligning incentives across ecosystems.
• 11:50 AM – Panel 3. Building Safe – Security, Wallets & Responsible Growth
  Ledger’s Jean-François Rochet, Trust Wallet’s Eowyn Chen, Minh Ho of Coin98 and Gunnar Camner of Coinbase will join a panel moderated by Francesco Andreoli of Consensys, who will lead a discussion on hacks, MEV, emerging security standards, and how wallets and custody solutions can protect institutional capital at scale.
• 1:25 PM – Panel 4. Expanding Horizons: Aggregation, Interoperability & Cross-Chain Liquidity
  Here, Sergej Kunz of 1inch, Sandeep Nailwal of Polygon Foundation and Sentient, Eric Turner of Messari and Misha Putiatin of Symbiotic and Esther Wong of Crypto.com join forces. Moderated by Kartik Talwar of ETHGlobal, this panel looks at liquidity aggregation, ZK rollups, interoperability standards and non-EVM chains, drawing lessons from teams building the next wave of infrastructure.

  Closing out the panels, the spotlight turns to the OGs of DeFi. Anton Bukov, 1inch co-founder, Stani Kulechov of Aave, Kain Warwick and Alex Glukhovskiy of ZKsync Foundation, will revisit DeFi’s first decade, debating governance, the role of DAOs and the long road to mainstream adoption.
