Will Ange Postecoglou stay at Spurs? Here are the betting odds

DATE POSTED:May 22, 2025
Ange Postecoglou side profile

Ange Postecoglou has delivered the first piece of Spurs silverware for seventeen years, but despite his efforts, there are rumours he may vacate the managerial seat.

Odds are shifting as the recent success of the club, led by Postecoglou, known as “Big Ange,” has brought a hefty windfall for the North London football club.

Despite this achievement, critics and bookmakers have been questioning the mercurial Australian’s performance and have suggested possible new suitors for the role at the iconic club.

Next Spurs manager betting odds: Is Ange likely to stay?

The winner of the recent Europa League gets the bragging rights, automatic qualification for the Champions League, and £100 million ($134.23 million) to seek out talent to add to the roster.

Sadly for fans of Big Ange, this isn’t just limited to the on-pitch performers, and it could herald a change down in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The bookies have priced their favourites to replace the media magnet, who delivered that “he always wins silverware in his second season.”

For Ange to stay in place, Bet365 has him at 6/4 (+150) at the time of writing, and that is generous given the media pressure that surrounded the manager amid a tense final.

The man who grew up in Melbourne is seen as a purist in football ideologies and his “Ange ball” style of play has won him major honours with South Melbourne, Brisbane Roar, Yokohama F. Marinos and more recently a domestic double and treble with Scottish club Celtic.

Next in line in the odds is Brentford manager Thomas Frank, 3/1 (+300). Francesco Farioli, who threw away the league on the last day of the Dutch season, is 6/1 (+600).

A raft of former and current Premier League alumni, including Marco Silva 8/1 (+800), Mauricio Pochettino 10/1 (+1000), Scott Parker 12/1 (+1200), Andoni Iraola 16/1 (+1600), and Oliver Glasner 20/1 (+2000), all make up the rest of the presumed pack.
