AI Logo Generation with Logome: Complete Review

Tags: new social
DATE POSTED:May 6, 2024

Logome AI has been on my list of best online logo generators for quite some time. I have successfully generated 15 logos for my clients so far. It lets you play with its logo generator without making an account and if you’re happy with the results, you can buy a subscription and download the logo.

Logo generators aren’t new – they have been around for decades. But now they are powered with AI. So instead of you picking out a design from their logo pack and then editing it, the application generates a fresh logo for you.

You have to enter some specifications about your business like your brand name, its slogan, your preferred look and colors, and AI will do the rest. It takes me less than 30 seconds to create a basic logo.

Once the logo is generated, you can play around with different colors to see which goes best with your design.

I tested some other logo makers such as Logo AI and Brandmark. While their process is pretty similar to Logome, I think Logome delivers catchier logos.

Logome is a pretty new service in the market and I started using it just a couple of months ago. But I’ve used it a lot in these days and I love how simple it is. Plus, it generates fresh logos every time. In this review, I’ll discuss Logome's services, pricing, competitors, and other factors so you can decide if it’s the right product for you.

I recommend Logome for:

Intricate and detailed logos without the need for edits

I do not recommend Logome for:

Highly specific or creative logos. You’ll need a human designer for that

Logome Pros and Cons

I’ve been using Logome for a few months now and these are the pros and cons according to me.

Pros Generates high-res logos The brand kit lets you have personalized typography and color palettes Creates your entire brand identity with AI Cons The basic plan doesn’t give a transparent image Editing options are limited How I Tested Logome

Logome let me try its logo maker for free, and that too without signing up. I just entered my details and preferences and it generated a logo for me.

I tested some other services as well but I found that Logome logos are more creative than others. I especially liked the soft Boho themes. But there are plenty of others you can try. Once you select the theme and pick the colors, your logo will be generated in no time.

But you cannot save the logo yet. You’ll need to purchase a premium plan to save the image you generated. There are three pricing plans and I’ll discuss them later in the article.

My Experience with Logome

Logome is good. It generates logos quickly and with just a few details. Of course, if you want something creative, you’ll need to hire a human for that. But regardless of the AI limitation, I did generate some stunning logos.

Now, there are other logo making services out there but Logome is AI-powered which means it has fresh and new logos every time. This also means that if you have generated a logo and forgot to save it, the same image will not be generated again.

And of course, there are some AI-related glitches. I tried to generate a logo for a restaurant called Gourmet Grove. Some logos read “Gwrmet Girove” while others read “Gourmet RGV”. I mean, we all know AI kinda sucks at putting text in images and that’s what happened here.

But the good thing is that you can generate as many logos as you want. It counts only when you download the file.

With Logome, it’s a fresh look with each logo. Other logo makers have some saved vectors that they mix and match for creating logos. However, with Logome, you get a freshly generated image each time.

Once the logo is generated, you can change the background colors and customize the logo. I’m hoping they will come up with more edits in the future. But for now, the edit options are limited.

Apart from generating logos, Logome also offers you a brand kit that can be used to print business cards, flyers, invoices, and other documents.

Pricing

There are three pricing plans:

Basic for $19/month Premium for $49/month Logo + Brand Kit for $99/month

You can try the services for free without even making an account. But you’ll need to purchase a subscription when you download the image. You cannot download it without paying.

Basic is the cheapest but I don’t think it’s of any value because it doesn’t give a transparent file. The Premium pack is the one that lets you have an image with a transparent background. In the Logo + Brand Kit package, you can generate flyers, business cards, and other documents with your logo on them.

Basic lets you download only one logo. If you are a graphic designer, the Premium or Logo + Brand Kit plans will be more suitable for you.

Does it Integrate?

Sadly, Logome doesn’t integrate with third party applications. There are no API offerings so you cannot use it in your app or software product. I have used some other logo generators as well and this seems to be the standard practice in the industry.

I couldn’t find other logo generators with API keys either. I guess an AI logo generator is supposed to be a standalone tool to create designs and logos.

Performance

Logome is pretty easy to use. All you need to do is enter some basic details: your brand name, slogan, industry, etc. and it will come up with logos. You can finalize a design and customize it. Once done, you can download it to your computer.

All it takes is a few seconds. And there are themes or styles to choose from. You can select abstract designing, Boho minimalist, lettermark combinations, and others.

I found it more creative than other logo makers that mix and match fonts and vector images. The output quality of generated logos is good and it’s easy to download and use the images.

Trying Logome for Free

You can try Logome for free and without even registering on the website. Here’s how you can create your brand logo in no time.

Step 1. Open the Logome website on your browser. Enter your company name in the text box and click on Make a Logo.

Step 2. Enter your brand name and slogan.

Step 3. Select your industry, logo style, and color palette.

Step 4. It will generate some logos according to your preference. Pick the logo you like the most.

Step 5. Customize its colors to get your desired output.

Once you have finalized the colors, click on Download on the top right corner and your logo will be saved on your device. Keep in mind that you can only download a limited number of logos according to your plan.

As you can see, you can try Logome services without paying anything. And you can generate as many logos for free as you want. You’ll need a premium subscription only when you download the image.

How Logome Works

Logome works with AI image generation. Just like any AI image generator, it has its limitations. For example, it might mess up with the spelling or other details. However, since Logome lets you generate countless logos, you don’t have to worry about errors.

I use Logome because it doesn’t work on pre-made templates. The whole point of a logo is to create a unique brand identity. If the same logo is used by a hundred other companies, this beats the entire purpose of having a logo.

Instead of selecting a template, you select your industry, the theme of the logo, and the color palette, which combine to create a prompt for the AI.

Logome generates images with AI. But it’s different than a regular AI image generator. It is geared specifically towards logos while other AI art generators are focused on creating realistic images.

Is AI Logo Generation Worth It?

Before Logome, I used to work with other logo generators. They combined different fonts and templates to give generic logos that needed a lot of editing. With AI logo generation, I get fresh logos each time and there’s minimal editing.

It’s fast, it’s cheap, and it’s full of possibilities. Besides, it’s AI. The more you use it, the more it will learn and get better. I agree it doesn’t always hit the nail on the head. This is why I generate a lot of logos before I settle on one.

Logome Alternatives

Logome is amazing for logo generation. But it’s not the only one. Let me discuss some other options out there in the market.

Logo AI

Logo AI works pretty much like Logome. It asks for your brand name, slogan, industry, color scheme, etc. And then it generates several logos for you. It has more customization options than Logome. Its prices are similar to Logome but since Logome offers discounts, I got it for less.

Also, I feel that Logome logos are more creative than Logo AI ones. Logo AI logos seem to be more generic, which is why I chose Logome. However, this is totally subjective. You can try both services and see which one you like more.

Logo AI offers some amazing services too. For example, it offers logo animation in its Brand plan but since I wanted logos for offline marketing, it wasn’t useful for me. If animation is something you want, Logo AI would be a better choice.

Brandmark

Brandmark is yet another AI logo generator. Apart from asking for a brand name and slogan, it also asks for certain keywords related to your industry. The rest of the process is similar. I played with Brandmark for some time before subscribing to Logome.

I feel that Brandmark logos are overly simple. They’re almost like the brand name written in fancy fonts. If you’re looking for a minimalist logo with just your company name on it, Brandmark would be the perfect choice.

Brandmark prices are on the higher side with the basic package at $25. The Enterprise package costs $175. These are one-time prices and you don’t need to buy a subscription.

Looka

Looka is an AI logo generator that gives several customization options. The process of logo creation is a bit different than Logome.

Apart from entering the brand name and slogan, you also need to select some symbols and designs that appeal to you. This gives the AI a better idea of the kind of logo you want.

Once your logo is created, you get to edit its layout, colors, symbols, and other elements. Just like Logome, you can generate a logo for free and pay only when you need to download it.

There are four pricing plans and the basic plan starts at $20 as a one-time purchase. It creates minimalist logos and there are generally no complicated designs.

Conclusion

Of all the AI logo generators I tested, Logome gave the most intricate designs. Of course, it has its limitations, but if you’re looking for detailed and elaborate logos, Logome is the best option out there. Using it is very easy too – just pick the color and design options and it will generate the logo for you.
