Legendary hip-hop icon and rap mogul turned everybody’s favorite advertising go-to has teamed up with BGaming to feature in his, and the company’s, first foray into a celeb-endorsed game.
Launched a couple of days ago on Roobet, Snoop Dogg Dollars is now available on the wider network and features Snoop performing his own voiceover for the game, whose background music consists of a chill-out, laid-back selection of beats.
Alexandr Shavel, Product Owner at BGaming, said of the partnership, “Snoop Dogg is one of the world’s best-known rappers with a legacy that spans decades, and he remains as high-profile as ever.
“With an inspired hip-hop soundtrack and an unmistakable West Coast setting, players will be transported to an immersive world where hip-hop reigns supreme. Snoop Dogg Dollars is a celebration of Snoop Dogg’s career, and we want players to join in the appreciation of the true master of his craft.”
Meanwhile, Roobet said
“We’ve really enjoyed producing this slot with BGaming. Their team showed great talent, creativity, and perseverance while developing the game and we’re very happy with the end result.”
Snoop himself appears not to have offered comment at this stage, probably choosing to count his winnings from yet another successful commercial partnership deal in the bag.
Having featured heavily in the Paris Olympics, both as a spectator and featuring in the showpiece events’ Closing Ceremonies, Snoop was also the face and sound of the Just Eat takeaway delivery brand for several months and remains one of music’s most recognizable acts.
The 52-year-old rap legend, real name, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in 2023. He is estimated to have sold over 37 million albums world wide since his debut, Doggystyle in 1993.
