Does Monster Hunter Wilds have early access?
Since 99% of games today have digital releases, early access is a main staple, allowing you to play ahead of the official launch.
With this, Monster Hunter fans new and old are keen to know if Wilds does have an early access period, allowing them to swing some Great Swords about before February 28.

Monster Hunter Wilds early access: Can you play before the release date?
Even though Monster Hunter Wilds can be bought digitally and has multiple editions of the game on offer, there is sadly no early access period you can take advantage of.
This is a little unfortunate for those who are willing to pay a bit extra to get in and slay some monsters before the masses, but it’s a decision that at least allows everyone to be on a level playing field from the get-go.
This means that you’re able to get the grind going with your friends at the exact same time, hopefully leveling together, and doing some hunts in groups, likely making the overall experience even more enjoyable.
The lack of an early access period for a Capcom published game isn’t something that comes as a surprise since it appears to be that this is a strategy for the company — making you wait for the actual release date to get stuck in.
In all honesty, it’s a commendable move since most companies would look to take advantage of eager players, squeezing a little extra cash out of them just to play a few days ahead of everyone else.
If you got chance to play the Betas though, you will have at least messed around with the new mechanics introduced and even though progress doesn’t carry over, you should be able to use this game knowledge as soon as February 28 comes.
