Destiny: Rising, the new mobile addition to the Destiny franchise, brings the beloved universe and looter shooter style to mobile devices.

But what if you’d prefer the larger screen and controls of a PC for your gaming experience? Here’s everything you need to know about playing Destiny: Rising on your computer.

How to play Destiny: Rising on PC

Before we get into any Destiny: Rising PC goodness, since the game is currently in an Alpha state, you will need an invite to get in.

If you already have one then great, you can continue, and if not, you can sign up on the official website and hope you’re one of the lucky ones!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a direct download for PC, so you’ll need to use an Android emulator like MuMu Player 12, LDPlayer, or Bluestacks to get it up and running.

These emulators simulate an Android environment on your PC, enabling you to install Destiny: Rising directly from the Play Store.

You will need to log into the Play Store with the same email as the one you used for the Alpha signup since you’ll be clicking the link sent from NetEase to open the download.

Keep in mind, however, that emulators require a decently powerful computer to run smoothly, especially if you want to enjoy the game’s visuals and responsive controls.

Since Destiny: Rising is on the higher end of mobile games in terms of graphics and overall depth, if you want to play with nicer vistas, you will need some good specs.

Once installed, Destiny: Rising on an emulator will retain all the functionality of the mobile version, with the added benefit of playing on a larger screen.

Just remember that you can’t carry your PC around to jump into quick sessions like you can with your phone. Still, this setup gives you a more comfortable way to dive into Destiny: Rising with better control and visibility.

Again, since it is currently in an Alpha state, there are some issues with crashing and controllers not working properly.

This shouldn’t be an emulator issue and instead, is Destiny: Rising itself so don’t worry too much if you’re encountering these problems.
