NetherRealm Studios reveals T-1000 will become the new playable character joining Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns.
A teaser trailer was released showcasing new voice lines, kits, and fatalities of the T-1000. He is known as the main villain of Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991).
Madam Bo from the Mortal Kombat 1 campaign will also be released alongside him as a new cameo character.
Both are set to release on March 18, 2025, on all available platforms.
T-1000 will be voiced by Robert Patrick, the original actor who portrayed the antagonist in the movie.
His move set surrounds his iconic ability to morph his body like liquid metal. His movie-inspired fatality is even more brutal than animalities, where he runs over his opponent with a truck before lighting them up from point black with a submachine gun.
Kombat Pack 1 currently includes Omni-Man, Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander, and Takeda Takahashi. T-1000 will be part of Kombat Pack 2 alongside Ghost Face, Conan the Barbarian, Noob Saibot, Cyrax, and Sektor.
Khaos Reigns is the first major story expansion for Mortal Kombat 1. Kombat Pack 2 is not available as a standalone character bundle, It is only acquired with Khaos Reigns Expansion, Bundle, or Kollection.
However, you can purchase individual characters for $7.99. So players can choose to purchase T-1000 when they release by themselves without spending extra on other characters.
